C.E. VICKERY AWARD
Charles E. Vickery believed in serving others and this award is to honor him and his dedicated service to the Walter Gerlach Livestock Show. As the founding Ag teacher of the WGLS, Mr. Vickery had a dream of providing a show for the students of Northside to exhibit their animals and learn to serve others in unselfish ways. He worked hard and was never afraid to get right into the mix of things; he was a true lead by example type of person. As so, the WGLS Board of Directors recognizes up to six students who carry on the Vickery spirit of serving others and serving the show.
